Tales of Arise is an action RPG that follows the story of Alphen, a Dahnan man who has lost his memories and the ability to feel pain, and Shionne, a Renan woman who is cursed with thorns that inflict pain on anyone who touches her.

Together, they must journey across the two worlds of Dahna and Rena to end the Renan oppression of the Dahnan people.

The game launched worldwide on September 9, 2021. It is available to play on PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. And today, it has made its way to the world of gaming subscription.

Tales of Arise was previously announced to join the Playstation Plus Extra and Premium free games lineup, care of Games Catalog. So when the game was leaked to join Game Pass as well and then later removed, everyone thought it was an honest mistake. Until now.

Tales of Arise was finally officially revealed that it will join Xbox Game Pass February 2024 free games the same time it will join PS Plus. This was such awesome news as it rarely happens that a game is added to both subscription services. One of the few times that happened was with the Sea of Stars launch in August 2023.
