Nacon has once again found itself in the headlines, and for many, this latest development doesn’t come as much of a surprise. After weeks of uncertainty surrounding the company’s financial situation, Nacon has officially delayed its upcoming showcase, pushing Nacon Connect 2026 from its planned March slot to May.

Last week, Nacon took fans on a roller coaster ride, both exciting and worrying people in a span of 2 days. The company announced a new Nacon Connect presentation scheduled for March 4 but the excitement was short-lived as just two days after, the company filed for insolvency.

The timing raised obvious questions like how does a company announce a major event and then disclose financial trouble almost immediately after?

Given that context, today’s update felt inevitable to some. Nacon confirmed that the March event, originally set to air tomorrow, will no longer take place. Instead, the showcase has been moved to May, though no exact date has been provided. That lack of specificity has fueled skepticism, with some questioning whether the event will happen at all.

In its official statement, Nacon explained, “Faced with a difficult economic environment for the company, we are choosing to focus our resources on upcoming releases and the development of our current games. This period will allow us to polish our projects and prepare for a new NACON Connect to be held in May.”

While the presentation was moved 2 months from now, The publisher reassured fans that comms for its upcoming titles will continue ahead of the rescheduled showcase. Among the games specifically mentioned were GreedFall: The Dying World launching March 12, Dragonkin: The Banished arriving March 19, and Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss which is due on April 16.

With the current situation, it is clear (and correct) that Nacon’s priority is getting its upcoming releases across the finish line.
