Lost Soul Aside (LSA) is an adventure action RPG developed by Ultizero Games and Published by Playstation. The project originated from the Shanghai development team founded in 2017 by Yang Bing. It immediately caught Sony’s interest and was accepted into the China Hero Project program.

Officially presented by Playstation as its publisher in 2022. Additionally, during the 10th Anniversary Party of PlayStation China, the team revealed the game’s arrival in 2025 on PC and PS5, shelving the initial development for PS4. Lost Soul Aside: Discover the PS5 Pro and PC Features from the New Trailer

With just one week until its launch, Playstation and the team at Ultizero Games are bringing new details on Lost Soul Aside. On 22 August 2025, they unveiled the new trailer dedicated to the PC version of the debut action RPG from the Shanghai team. This trailer shows us the graphics and gameplay features we can enjoy on PC.

Featuring up to native 4K graphics with HDR support, as well as native Dualsense controller support. It also brings extensive Ray Tracing capabilities for Shadows, Reflections, and Global Illumination. Ray Tracing will be particularly well-utilized on the PS5 Pro, while the PC version boasts support for DLSS 4, FSR, and Frame Generation.

 

Lost Soul Aside: The Behind The Scenes of Development

Ultizero Games also released an interesting video dedicated to the Behind The Scenes of the development. A video of almost 9 minutes narrated by Yang Bing, the producer and director of the game. He tells how LSA started as a passion project, with him learning step by step during development. And how the 2016 Trailer received unexpectedly positive feedback.

He even received an email from Playstation, which introduced him to the China Hero Project. This led to the expansion of the team and the focus of the type of experience they wanted to create. Drawing strong inspiration from Hack & Slash games like DMC and Bayonetta. It offers dynamic gameplay with various combos using 4 weapons and elements. A strong level of sound design as well as visual design with diverse locations. As well as the symbiotic nature of Arena and Kaser that players will discover.
