SEGA’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has become the fastest selling game in Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza series after hitting one million sales in its first week.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the eighth mainline entry in the incredibly-popular JRPG Yakuza series, and is the direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The game switches things up by featuring turn-based combat, rather than the all-action combo system the Yakuza games are known for, and includes Hawaii as a main location for the first time.
Fan favorite Kazuma Kiryu returns alongside Ichiban Kasuga on a journey that sees Kasuga seek out his mother, who he believes has died. Together, they’ll protect her against various criminal organizations in a storyline that is as wild as any previous Yakuza game. Some mini-games include a dating game, darts, and karaoke.

And it has been a smash hit with fans as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth crashed past 1 million sales in its first week of release to become the fastest-selling Yakuza game. SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are giving away an in-game Celebratory T-Shirt Set that will come later to celebrate the milestone.
