Broken Arrow (BA) is the real-time strategy game developed by Steel Balalaika, a Russian development team that started the project back in 2019 with a Boomstarter campaign, partnering with the publisher Slitherine. The Patreon also greatly helped fund development following the 2021 reveal.

Initially scheduled for a June 2024 release, it was delayed with the new release date set for June 2025. Offering a real-time strategy with over 300 units and realistic military technologies, promising a title full of action and realism.

Broken Arrow: What the Game Offers

BA is designed as a real-time strategy with a large-scale global conflict between superpowers Russia and the United States. Featuring 6 categories of units including infantry, recon, support, vehicles, helicopters, and aircraft. Featuring elite units from both factions like the Russian Spetsnaz and VDV, to the US Marine Corps and Special Operations.

With a strong strategic component, there are more than 300 units with over 1500 combinations. Based on real-life locations, and different terrains across 19 maps. Offering a dual campaign with 19 missions, a Skirmish Mode against AI in up to 5v5 matches. Multiplayer matches and a robust game editor with workshop support for modding.

BA is an ambitious project bringing a militaristic RTS with a strong realistic and detailed component.
