Hades 2 officially exits Early Access with its v1.0 release, now fully available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
After more than a year in Early Access on PC, Hades 2 has finally hit its full v1.0 release. Supergiant Games has polished and expanded the roguelike sequel into a complete experience bringing new features, refined gameplay, and plenty of surprises for fans who’ve been following its journey since day one. Even better, the launch marks the game’s long-awaited arrival on Nintendo Switch, opening the gates of the underworld to an entirely new group of players.
Hades 2 v.10 Now Out On PC and Nintendo Switch
Hades 2 follows in the footsteps of its award-winning predecessor, and its journey to full release mirrors the same path. Initially launched on May 6, 2024 in Early Access for PC, the roguelike sequel spent over a year and a half gathering player feedback and refining its systems.
Like the original Hades which graduated from PC Early Access to a full release on both PC and Switch, Hades 2 now makes the same leap. As for other platforms, there’s no announcement yet but given that Hades eventually made its way to PlayStation and Xbox (even on Xbox Game Pass), there’s reason to be hopeful.

This full release represents the most significant milestone yet for Hades 2 introducing the long-awaited True Ending for Princess Melinoë alongside new content and systems. Players can now unlock 50 achievements, collect fresh keepsakes, customize familiars with alternate forms, and expand the Crossroads with new items.
The patch also introduces a lot of adjustments to weapons, boons, and enemy encounters to deliver smoother difficulty progression and more rewarding combat. Quality-of-life updates like faster interactions and clearer visual feedback were also implemented to help refine and polish the overall experience. There’s also new music, art, and narrative additions that expand the world and story in.
There was no roadmap or future plans for content that were announced as of now, only that bugs and issues will be fixed. To be fair, they deserve the time to relax and enjoy the game they built.
