As your journey continues, the challenges become tougher, so you’ll need to improve your train. You can find new wagons, build crafting stations, expand your storage, reinforce the walls, or simply upgrade the engine to outrun your attackers.

Wishlist Milestone: 200,000 Players Back Frostrail

Even though the game has only been known for two months, many are already excited. On June 17, 2025, developer FakeFish announced that Frostrail had surpassed 200,000 Steam wishlists—well over a year ahead of its planned Early Access release. The first milestone of 100,000 wishlists was already achieved in April, and the number keeps growing. Players are eager, and the game is set to launch in Early Access in 2026.
