Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 2 launches January 22, adding new fighters, balance updates, and monthly DLC through June 2026.

The next chapter of Fatal Fury City of the Wolves is almost here as SNK officially announced that Season 2 is set to begin this month. It brings a fresh wave of fighters and some gameplay updates. So for fans of the game, Season 2 is definitely something to get excited for.

 

Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Season 2 Announced

SNK officially announced Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 2 with a brand-new trailer, confirming a January 22 launch date. The new season will introduce six DLC characters, all of which will be released on a monthly basis starting from day one. The drop will kick off with the arrival of Kim Jae Hoon.

Along with him, three additional DLC fighters have already been revealed, while the remaining two characters remain a mystery. They are expected to be announced closer to their respective release windows.

The full Season 2 rollout schedule currently looks like this:

  • January 2026 – Kim Jae Hoon
  • February 2026 – Nightmare Geese
  • March 2026 – Blue Mary
  • April 2026 – Wolfgang Krauser
  • May 2026 – Mystery Character
  • June 2026 – Mystery Character
   

In addition to new fighters, Season 2 will also introduce roster-wide balance changes and battle system adjustments as part of Patch 1.7.2. Pricing has not yet been announced but considering that it launches next week, it should come out very soon.

Fatal Fury City of the Wolves officially launched on April 21, 2025, and is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series consoles, and PC
