Last Epoch Season 3: Release Date Confirmed by New Trailer

Following the teaser released in June, the Eleventh Hour Games team finally brings new info on Season 3 of Last Epoch. The new, long-awaited season is coming to the team’s fantasy hack & slash action RPG. The new Season 3 will debut on August 21, 2025, accompanied by the Official Trailer.

The trailer from July 25, 2025 takes us into the new chapter of the Ancient Era in the world of Eterra. It shows us the locations and challenges that await us, as well as the new additions. Including:

  • New Primordials: With new Primordial Unique and Exalted Items.
  • Lich and Necromancer Rework: With dual-wielding for the Lich, and a passive skill overhaul for both.
  • Quality of Life: With various balancing for Necromancer and Beastmaster minions. Plus, offline support for cosmetic items and Merchant’s Guilds.
  • Rift Beast: The new mechanic with a powerful enemy that will await us and continue to evolve.

But also the new Rift Beast system, which the team has yet to explore in detail. These new features are in addition to the changes and balancing that LE has seen since 2025.

Judd Cobler, the founder of EHG, announced that the team has been acquired by KRAFTON and will continue to develop LE as a subsidiary. This news has been met with mixed reactions from fans. Particularly given the recent situation with the Subnautica 2 team and KRAFTON. Many fear a similar treatment for EHG.
