Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter release date confirmed, YS: X Proud Nordics coming to Asia in August

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is the highly anticipated remake of the beloved Legend of Heroes series (Eiyuu Densetsu) RPG by Falcom. Featuring a 3D remake of the first chapter of the Liberl trilogy, originally released in Japan in 2004 and globally on PSP in 2011, and finally on PC in 2014.

The remake promises upgrades in both graphics and gameplay. Following the adventures of Estelle Bright and Joshua, this journey will have the duo, along with various companions, save the entire kingdom from a conspiracy. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Character Trailer and Confirmed Release Date

With June starting, the Falcom team brings some amazing news. With the release of the new Character Trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, the long-awaited remake of the first chapter in the Legend of Heroes/Trails series. The first of three trailers dedicated to the main character Estelle Bright.

The first trailer sees Falcom, along with publisher GungHo America, finally confirm the release date of September 19, 2025, with pre-orders starting from June 17, 2025. 1st Chapter will be available on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with the Steelbox Edition (launch) and Bracer editions (Nov-Dec) on consoles.

Ys X: Proud Nordics: Latest News

Along with the confirmation of the global release date for Trails in the Sky Remake, there are also updates about Ys X: Proud Nordics. The enhanced version of the 10th main chapter featuring adventurer Adol Christin, with Proud Nordics adding a new story, areas, and some new gameplay features like Mana Actions.

The team at Falcom has added localization in Korean and Traditional Chinese, as well as adding the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.Ys X: Proud Nordics will be available in Asia on August 21, 2025 and in Japan on Switch 2 starting July 31, 2025. Meanwhile, NIS has yet to confirm the launch for the localized global version.
