    About this game

    The Waylander’s is a party-based, real-time with pause CRPG inspired by the original Dragon Age games but heavily influenced by Celtic culture and mythology, developed by Gato Studio based in Spain. It was supposed to be a time for enlightenment and celebration the Tuatha de Danaan had come, the first-time mortals have met their gods before, but when the talks had gone catastrophically wrong you were forced to battle with an all-powerful god leaving you near death and untethered from time. Once you came to again the land had been overtaken by magical corruption and the human kingdom had splintered into multiple factions warring for the throne. What will you do in these turbulent times? Will you support the immature rightful heir to the throne or will you support the more experienced general trying to oust him?

     
    • You will travel through two distinct era’s Galicia under the Celtic rule a time when a melting pot of magical creatures, religions, and cultures intertwined and the medieval era when magic had faded through the world and most of the kingdom had converted to Christianity. What has become of the souls of your mortal and immortal friends?
    • Waylander’s has taken inspiration from a number of classic RPGs that came before it especially the Dragon Age series. Use real-time with pause strategically to select party members and use spells, abilities, and skills smartly, lastly on your journey you will discover a treasure trove of weapons, armor, trinkets, and more to outfit your party use them wisely.
    • Companions are a central mechanic in Waylander’s combat they can make a massive difference in how you defeat enemies, depending on your Party’s class makeup you might have to change your formation and general strategy.
