About this game

Janitor Bleeds is a retro-inspired survival horror game set in an old arcade shop developed by Korpus studio, your car has crashed on a road surrounded by a dark forest the only shelter you can find is an abandoned arcade. But as you explore it you find out that someone has recently been here, as you scramble to find the stranger for help, a mysterious arcade machine called Janitor pulls you to play itself, and you sense a terrible fate has befallen you. The only way to survive is to go deeper into the arcade whilst keep playing JANITOR, but the further you go you notice that the events in the game start influencing the real world. When your eyes are glued to the arcade who knows what’s happening behind you?

There’s so much good going for Janitor Bleeds, creating plenty of scares with its well-executed main concept of having to play an arcade game while stalked by a mysterious entity. Sadly, there are some flaws. I do wish the ending had a bit more going for it, the main story only lasted about an hour, and the token system is woefully underused. Nonetheless, for the low price tag, fans of old-school horror games shouldn’t miss out on this little cabinet of spooks.

The simple graphics and well-timed audio enhance the horror experience, making you dread the pursuit. However, the lack of a story is a missed opportunity that could have immersed the player in the game.
