Fans of the Blue Reflection series have something big to look forward to this summer. Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have announced Blue Reflection Quartet, a definitive bundle that brings the full saga of magical Reflectors in one place.
Blue Reflection Quartet is Launching in July
Blue Reflection Quartet is set to launch on 30 July 2026 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The compilation includes the original console games, a console version of the mobile game Blue Reflection Sun with revamped combat, and a story scenario summarizing the Blue Reflection Ray anime.
The bundle also brings several quality-of-life improvements across the titles. Classic games like Blue Reflection and Second Light receive HD upgrades, faster movement speed, and auto-save, while the console version of Sun gains the battle system from Second Light, along with new events and character interactions. Even the anime adaptation gets a fresh twist with 3D character models and additional prologue and epilogue content to tie all the stories together seamlessly.
For fans who like physical copies, it was also shared that it will be a Japan-only physical release. While it’s region-specific, the package is expected to support Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. So if you’re an avid fan, importing the physical release is not a bad idea.
On top of the four, players will also get access to a new Reference database that goes deeper into the Blue Reflection universe, alongside a Gallery featuring artwork by series character designer Mel Kishida. Photo mode gets a boost too, letting players capture familiar faces like Yuzuki and Lime alongside new additions from Ray and Sun.
With Blue Reflection Quartet, both newcomers and longtime fans can explore the magical, emotional, and character-driven world of the series in one beautifully polished package. It’s a chance to relive old memories and experience the bonds of the Reflectors like never before.
Blue Reflection is the original console game released in March 2017, where players follow Hinako, a former ballerina who gains magical powers as a Reflector. She forms bonds with fellow students while battling supernatural threats, exploring a beautifully crafted world with HD visuals and enhanced gameplay features like faster movement and autosave.
Blue Reflection Second Light, released in October 2021, continues the story with Ao and a group of amnesiac students exploring the mysterious Heartscape. Players navigate magical battles, regain memories, and uncover the truth of their strange surroundings, now with extra characters from the other entries and improved quality-of-life features.
Blue Reflection SUN is the console version of the original mobile game from February 2023. Players lead a squad of girls facing the Ash-born Testa in a dying world, resolving each member’s personal challenges while combating spreading corruption, now with revitalized combat using the Second Light system and added story events.
Blue Reflection RAY condenses the 24-episode anime that aired from April to September 2021 into an interactive scenario. Players follow Hiori and Ruka as they explore the Common, relive memories, and confront Shino, now rendered in 3D with a new prologue and epilogue tying the anime story into the other games.
