The Division Resurgence Heads to Steam

The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play RPG shooter that first arrived on PC through Early Access on Ubisoft Connect which gave fans an early look at the mobile spin-off adapted for a larger platform. During this time, Ubisoft also shared a roadmap outlining its plans for the game’s first year on PC.

Season 1 launched together with Early Access, while Season 2 was scheduled to arrive alongside the full PC release. Later this year, Season 3 is expected to introduce a new story expansion, adding more missions and content to continue the game’s narrative.

Although Ubisoft had previously confirmed that the full PC version would launch sometime in August, an exact release date was never announced. That changed today with the publisher confirming that The Division Resurgence Version 1.0 will launch on August 5, 2025, the same day the game becomes available on Steam. Pre-ordering is not available but players can wishlist the game.

The PC version offers the complete experience allowing players to tackle missions alone or team up with friends in full co-op play. It also supports full cross-play and cross-progression.

Ubisoft has not released the updated PC system requirements for Version 1.0 but we’d assume that the full release will use the same hardware requirements as the current Early Access version.
