Escalation Mode: The Ultimate Endgame Grind

Escalation is a brand-new, permanent difficulty built strictly for hardcore veterans. It features 10 Tiers of escalating pain, requiring a new currency called Escalation Tokens to access the higher levels.
Make no mistake—this mode is entirely unforgiving. There are absolutely no checkpoints. If your squad wipes or the timer runs out, you lose every token you wagered.
To survive the run, you’ll have to adapt to nasty Mutators like Harvester (enemies heal based on your armor) and Suppressor (charging EMP blasts). The weekly rotation keeps the meta shifting constantly.
Prototype Gear & The Recombinant System
Your existing Level 40 gear just got a massive ceiling increase. Enter Prototype Gear.
This new rarity pushes stats up to 1.5x higher than before. You can grind for these pieces in Escalation, or upgrade your current High-End and Gear Set items using Prototype Cores.
Every Prototype piece comes equipped with an Augment—a special effect drawn from a universal pool. You might roll temporary damage immunity, or a massive buff to your grenade radius.
Combat also gets far more complex with the Recombinant Global Modifier. You’ll constantly balance Offense, Defense, and Utility stacks using experimental Black Tusk tech.
Rise Up brings our most varied pool of Modifiers yet, offering a huge range of combinations to tailor your build to your own playstyle, or branch out into something completely new.
