MASS EFFECT 2 REVIEWS

Mass Effect 2 is an utterly absorbing, satisfying and rewarding journey that you absolutely will not want to end, ever.

DarkZero

Great show; I can’t wait for the third installment!

Cheat Code Central

The loss of RPG elements may hit some people hard, and the repetition in minigames may lead to yawns and tired eyes, but none of these faults hold Mass Effect 2 back from being a work of bold ambition, and one of gaming’s most exciting sequels.

Mass Effect 2 is a very well made game, especially looking at the time when the game was made. I have played the game for over 50+ hours and enjoyed playing it so much. * Game weather effects are also very well made like thunder, storms, thunder storms, dust storms, rain etcetera. Even the sky is greatly made and you can see clouds moving across the sky in the wind, or thunder or even sun. * Sound effects are amazing too and well made. Like raining inside through sealing/roof and raindrops falling to metal surface and making rain tripping on to metal sound. * Also different background music is really good and enjoyable in different planets, situations and places, music differs and is always different but really good. Background music is mostly intense, especially when fighting with enemies and in different missions too. There is calmer background music too but still amazing music is then when you just explore places and are in calmer, safer places. In the game the music and sound effects are amazing and awesome. On some planets with the small research shuttle you can fly around is pretty fun and awesome to do. You can explore some different planets, locations and dangerous places and fly around yourself. I like flying around with the research shuttle, extracting resources from the ground, collecting data and other things. Even reach there where you normally couldn´t. I also like some different alarms and emergency's in game like when your small research shuttle have gotten enough critical hits it starts alarming and when it´s in critical stage the emergency alarm are louder and different. I like it. * In the game ambient sound is amazing too and enjoyable. The ambient sounds, music and everything sound based in game is also fantastic and super well made. Environmental sounds like birds singing are also well hearable and understandable, also enjoyable. It sounds pretty realistic. The game design and structural layouts and very well made and everything looks pretty nice and great. Also different consoles and screens which is working in game are great and pretty detailed too. You can see different information and details on consoles and screens, you can see it but can´t actually understand because the language isn´t understandable. I like that the game is actually pretty detailed. Exploring inside different fleets, stations bases and in different planets/worlds is fun and interesting. Always something new, something strange and something amazing to to, to see and to find. Overall worlds/planets, stations, bases, fleets interior and exterior building, textures and details are amazing, even i could say epic. Different sounds around, ambient sounds, music and electric sparkling are super great. * Fighting in game is mostly intense most of the time, fun and sometimes even hard. But sometimes the fighting felt like i was a real commander, soldier especially when we fighted with hordes of zombie like husks and i needed to fall back more and more because they just kept coming towards us in hordes. It would have been great time to do co-op it would have been possible like: "Team one attack, team two defend" . "Retreat, shoot, retreat, shoot" We fighted even their bigger masters too inside a stationed fleet. It was an epic, hard, intense and enjoyable fight. Overall opinion i would say that the game is really amazing and epic and the game is really well made, and i enjoy playing it. I would definitely recommend it to others too who also like story rich, intense fighting and exploring game. Your choices in game kinda actually matters too, so most of the time you must think how to approach your answers and you must think them through too. Do you choose the good way or bad way and there are a lot in the game. Yes, there are also some bugs too in the game, but they are minimal and don´t happen regularly. I would give the game something like 7-8/10 points. And thumbs up too. Recommending

I hate EA they still not added option to buy the DLCs that were available only on Origin to Steam.

I highly recommend it, it's a great sequel that hits all the same beats as the first game while also being original in it's own right.
