    VVVVVV (pronounced as the letter V six times, “Vee”, “Vs”, or “V-6”) is a retro-styled action 2D puzzle platform video game designed by Terry Cavanagh and scored by Magnus Pålsson. It was built with the use of Adobe Flash.

    The story begins when the ship becomes trapped in another world as caused by a “dimensional interference” and that the ship’s crew has been scattered throughout this dimension. It is set in an alternative world which referred to as Dimension VVVVVV where the player must control and guide Captain Viridian as he completes every challenge in order to save the missing crew members: Doctor Victoria, Officer Vermillion, Professor Vitellary, Chief Verdigris, and Doctor Violet and find the cause of the dimensional interference.

    VVVVVV is Terry Cavanagh’s best game to date. The game is the pinnacle of 2D platform experience which offers a unique retro-esque gravity-defying podium incorporated with entertaining scripts and the best chip-tune music you’ll ever hear. A short but unforgettable retro platformer adventure; although it is a fast-paced video game, it will still give you lots of unique fun for a few hours.
