V Rising is a survival game where you play as a vampire who awakens and finds himself weak after centuries of being in slumber.

• Day or night, hunt for blood in order to regain your strength. Stay under the shadows at daytime, or you risk burning yourself into ashes. At night, prey on your victims in the dark.
• Explore a huge, open world and discover valuable resources in thick forests, dark caverns, and open countryside. Gain more dark powers using resources and ancient techniques.
• Build yourself a castle where you can store your loot and grow your own army. Express yourself and personalize it according to your preferences. Build your defenses and protect your valuables from your rivals.
• Compete or cooperate -- you have the choice to go through the game alone, or with other vampires online. Team up with other vampires to raid other players' castles, and fight the strongest enemies in Vardoran.

V Rising Reviews

V Rising may not have the deepest survival game mechanics around, but that is hardly a problem. The game crafted by Stunlock Studios masterfully weaves mechanics from very different genres to provide an experience like any other on the market. While solo players may find the experience becoming a little stale over time, everyone else will find plenty of reasons to remain in this world, whether it's to perfect their characters or build the most haunting vampire castle ever seen.

Keeping the killing rays of the sun and your dwindling blood supply as ongoing concerns is effective and evocative in selling the vampire fantasy, as is the ability to craft the sprawling, spooky estates of my nightmares.
