UFO Aftermath is a turn-based 3D strategy game with RPG elements included, developed by Altar Interactive and published by 1C Company.

You will play the game as a commander of the last humans on Earth. Your objective is to guide them through the crisis and eliminate alien invaders called the Reticulans. The game is set in the year 2004 during a time when a giant spacecraft approached Earth and released clouds of spores which darkened the skies and eventually wiped out most of the higher life forms.

UFO Aftermath’s gameplay is described as rooted deeply in the XCOM series, thus it combines elements of RPG, strategy, and squad-based tactics. The RPG element of the game comes in when your soldiers improve by gaining experience, skills, and attributes. The game has 2 phases: the strategic phase, and the tactical phase.

During the strategic phase, you have to get your troopers ready for battle by acquiring new equipment, recruiting new personnel, and conduct research on production of more advanced equipment. The tactical phase will immerse your troopers into real-time combat. All the combatants will move simultaneously in a battlefield presented in a fully rotatable 3D environment.
