4th installment of the Train Sim World by Dovetail Games, which has come with a pletora of issue that undermined profoundly the trust over the publisher/developer from the fan of the series. First of all the game released just a year after the 3, completely leaving that title out of any development and support, moreover the promised fix and patches were left to die as well. Now the newly released TSW4 does have some minor improvements, but its' essentially a repackaged 3.
With realistic graphics and detailed models, Train Sim World 4 has all chances to compete with Railway Empire 2. But, unlike recently released management game, this title allows you to drive different trains and roam freely in the vast area. Besides, it comes with multiple scenarios and various challenges that will test your knowledge and skills. For those who likes trains both games are must have, wether you're familiar with series or not.
For anyone with a passion for trains or who has always dreamed of driving one, this simulation is a reference. It takes you from the training centre to the twisting, trapping lines in the remote mountains of a country you can't even spell... Lots of locomotives available, guaranteed immersion, varied landscapes. I recommend the special or intermediate edition, as the additional content is pretty substantial!
