Sonic returns with its 2D classic style for some high-speed action platforming. Sonic Superstars brings us an adventure in the Northstar Islands with playable characters such as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy with new powers and unique abilities. You can play with up to 3 more friends in online coop in order to stop Dr. Eggman and other formidable foes. Besides coop, Sonic Superstars will also feature an online 8-player PvP battle mode.
Branded as a new 2D adventure, Sonic Superstars feature the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog in a new adventure, one that gears more toward the classic 2D platforming formula with some twists. With the power of these new Emerald you'll be able to perform new tricks, all to put a halt to Dr. Eggman evil plan once again. This time he has not only allied himself with Fang but also a new villain. You'll also be able to play in co-op with 3 friends and challenge others in Battle mode!
The blue hedgehog is back, Sega is not letting go of its golden goose. Several emblematic enemies from the franchise will stand in our way. The game is old-school, with horizontal scrolling and revamped graphics. New power-ups are on the menu, but the usual formula is retained: it's ultra-dynamic, fast-paced and demanding in terms of timing. The adventure can be played locally by 4 players, with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy.
