Riot- Civil Unrest is a simulation, strategy video game that is developed by Leonard Menchiari in cooperation with IV productions and published by Merge Games.
Get to experience both sides as inequality due to the economical crisis of the word is causing discontentment among the people. This is manifested in public disturbances as well as civil unrest. You can play as the Rioters or as the police to experience both sides.
The rioters, you will give instructions to them as well as to the Journalists and encourage rage and aggressive actions or sometimes you would also need to calm down the situation by using retreats or tactical crowd reformation. Weapon of choice for you are Molotov cocktails, fireworks, paper bombs, furniture, rocks and the power of media.
As the police, you can use both passive and aggressive tactics for crowd control. You will take command of squads for assault, tactical and ballistic. Your weapons would be smoke grenades, plastic or rubber ammunition or sometimes even the real thing. You can also get to use water cannons or even a tank.
There are 16 campaign levels that can be found in four scenarios which are Keratea (Greece). NoTAV (Italy), Ingdigandos and Arab Spring Egypt.You can play the single player mode which is against the AI or versus mode against a friend
