This is a must-play, even if you're new to the Resident Evil franchise. The graphics of this game aged very well, you wouldn't be bothered by anything appearance-wise. As for gameplay and mechanics, they surpass even RE Village sometimes. The inventory management and loot system are very satisfying. The game atmosphere is unique and it starts on a scary, slow and creepy tone, then slightly orients itself towards action and switches back and forth between horror and action. The remake of this game is coming out in about a year, so it's a good time to check the original out.
