An interesting MMO FPS set in ruins inspired by the (post)Soviet era. It's post-apocalyptic and combines PvP, PvE, exploration, loot and resources extraction and of course combat (solo or in groups). The game's atmosphere is very convincing and well-crafted, and immersion is a strong point, with a wide variety of biomes (abandoned villages, lush flora, etc.). However, it still lacks content and polish, and the AI and balancing could be improved, but it's promising.
Pioner is shaping up as a gritty open-world MMO shooter set on a post-apocalyptic island with both PvE and PvP, big maps to explore, crafting and faction systems that make survival feel more than just running and gunning, and its Early Access launch in mid-December shows the developers are serious about giving players a sandbox to tackle together
Imagine a mix of Stalker and Fallout games and in MMO genre and you will have a perfect idea of what Pioner is. A huge post-apocalyptic world played in first person, where every bullet counts, many locations to explore, gather materials, craft equipment, defeat weird enemies and the most important part, with more people on the same server so you can join forces. PvP is in separate areas so if you just want to chill the game content you easily can. Great idea and great presentation.
