Thanks to the partnership between Sega and Microsoft, we also have Persona 3 Reload, the complete Remaster of 3rd title the Shin Megami Tensei spin-off series. P3R is a significant step in the series both visually but also a glimpse for future releases. Atlus has decided to bring the original title (thus missing FES and Portable extra routes and story), as well as a change the engine from the proprietary one to Unreal Engine 4, with the benefit of Ray Tracing to boot on Series X/S.
The reimagined RPG Persona 3 Reload is a great addition to the series. With outstanding presentation and addictive gameplay, this game offers new dorm activities, a possibility to see other players choices as well as rewind any point of time. Overall, it is a wonderful game and worth trying if you're into this genre.
Persona 3 is said to be the most dark and gritty entry on the franchise. This remake retains the story and characters from the original but introduces many quality of life changes, like an improved UI and graphics, while adding some new scenes and interactions. I can't believe it's finally happening! Persona 3 Reload coming on February 2, 2024. Time to relive those Dark Hour adventures and make new memories. Who else is counting down the days?
