SEGA Sammy Holdings: Revealed Sales of Persona, Sonic, and Like a Dragon
SEGA accidentally shared sales data for some games. The news came directly from SEGA Sammy Holdings’ official page, which shared the data through a PDF dated June 18th, a PDF not meant for public viewing, whose data was shared by several outlets before the PDF was removed. Specifically, Gematsu shared the data for various games, including:
- Persona 3 Reload – Total 7.2 Million copies
- Persona 5 Royal – Total 2.07 Million copies
- Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – Total 1.66 Million copies
- Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased Their Name – Total 960,000 copies
- Sonic Frontiers – Total 4.57 Million copies
- Shin Megami Tensei V (including Vengeance) – Total 2.11 Million copies
Showing, in particular, Persona 5 Royal, which accounts for almost 70% of the total sales of the Persona 5 franchise. And a good milestone for Persona 3 Reload with over 2 Million copies. While the Like a Dragon series, especially Infinite Wealth, saw lower sales than fans expected. Additional data was shared on ResetEra.
