Howl is a folkloric turn-based strategy game set in medieval times. It's a fantasy game, where anyone who hears an unusual cry is transformed into a wild creature. You have to fight wolves, planning up to 6 moves in advance, jumping, choosing different attacks and different approaches. The story is original, and so is the game.
Howl is an interesting tactical turn based adventure by Mi'pu'mi Games GmbH based on the medieval folklore tales. Here a "howling plague" has turned everyone who hear it into beasts. The heroine is a deaf girl unable to hear the plague thus the only one who can search of a cure. Peculiarity of this title is the ability to plan up to 6 moves, as the feral beasts posses different abilities and set of skills. All expressed in a unique ink type of style of visuals.
Howl is a turn-based puzzle and strategy game. There are over 60 levels filled with different wolfish creatures with unique abilities and strengths. You play as a deaf heroine in search of the cure to the sinister plague that has affected this land. Use up to 6 turns in advance to defeat or outsmart your enemies, having at your disposal a limited set of movements and abilities. It's more of a puzzle game than a strategy one and the most noticeable feature is it's unique ink art-style.
Granted with unique art style, Howl features turn-based gameplay where you're on your way of finding a cure for plague. As you progress, various special abilities will be available for you to fight off howling wolves. The design is captivating, and overall it sounds like a great game.
