FIFA 22 for the Nintendo Switch comes in the Legacy Edition which offers the game with the gameplay innovation of FIFA 21. It doesn’t come with new enhancements and developments. It does however come with an updated visual identity having a new design for the in-game front end and menu screens.

If you’ve never owned a football game on a console, this is probably the way to go, gameplay is thankfully passable and there is not another out there with such fully comprehensive licensing domination.

FIFA 22 on Switch is the latest example of little to no respect being paid towards a fanbase being asked to pay a premium price for a virtually unchanged product. It’s just not good enough.
