Disney Speedstorm Now Free to Play – Season 4 Introduces Aladdin, Genie and Jasmine
October 2, 2023 | Free Gameloft’s Disney Speedstorm is now out of Early Access and released fully on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. The full experience has seen the game gone free-to-play as of September 28.
What happens when you combine the Disney universe with Mario Kart gameplay? We’ll soon find out in the upcoming Disney Speedstorm, which will be available in early access on a number of platforms. This title is rather ambitious, since it will be free-to-play with additional paid content. Microtransactions might not be the best idea, however, the title is surely worth your attention if you like fun racing games with popular cartoon characters.
Disney Speedstorm is a new racing game featuring beloved Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Elsa, and Lightning McQueen. The game offers players a variety of fun and challenging tracks inspired by iconic Disney locations, including the streets of Paris and the magical kingdom of Arendelle. The game’s mechanics are easy to pick up, but the game’s difficulty level ramps up quickly, keeping players engaged and challenged. The game’s graphics are bright and colorful, capturing the fun and whimsy of the Disney universe. The game also offers a variety of customization options, allowing players to customize their vehicles and characters with unique skins and upgrades.
Kart racing and arena battles are on the agenda with Disney Speedstorm, which offers a perfectly readable experience: a Mario-Kart Like (or Crash Team Racing for fans like me at the time of the PS1) but in a Disney universe. In other words, there’s plenty to do in terms of content, and we know pretty much what kind of arcade video game experience we’re going to find, multiplayer/family oriented without a doubt, for a young audience, and maybe not so young?
The problem that could arise is what will be the basic content of the game, and what will be the proposed microtransactions… tracks/drivers cut from the basic game, or mostly cosmetics (less serious)? The paid starter packs are not mandatory in any case, despite their exorbitant price, independently of the price of the base game.
Not sure if i like it but i might give it a go – WhiteQueen#9455
