Black Myth: Wukong is a rare action RPG where the presentation and the moment-to-moment fighting both deliver, the bosses are the main event, the art direction stays memorable, and the combat has enough options (spells, stances, transformations) to keep encounters from blending together. It’s also held up well with players over time, with Steam staying in “Very Positive” territory, and the later fixes on Xbox helped it land closer to how it was meant to look and run.

Black Myth Wukong brings to our screens and controllers all the magic of Chinese mythology with the legend of the Monkey King and story of Journey to the West. Game is beautiful beyond words, thanks to Unreal 5 and also has very huge and spectacular enemies to be taken down, with the protagonist's awesome skills and equipment, as any good action RPG must have, and Wukong has a good number of those. Must play game and GOTY contender.
Black Myth WuKong is an action RPG with a stunning visual identity and a universe based on Chinese mythology. The game has a unique combat system that can't be compared to Souls or anything else: you alternate between magic and melee, you can transform into different creatures, there's a perfect dodge that creates a ghost of your character and allows you to counter-attack... The bosses are tough, but majestic! Just like UE5's graphics. I can't wait!
Without a doubt, Black Myth: Wukong is an ambitious project of Game Science, and their only 2nd work. Featuring a wonderful world designed by Chinese mythology standards, this RPG is filled with powerful creatures and mysteries to uncover. The ambiance promises to be immersive, and I think it's going to be a worthy game overall.
