The weekend just got even better for Borderlands fans. During the Borderlands Fan Fest held just a few hours ago, Gearbox Software and 2K unveiled the official story trailer for Borderlands 4 and it’s loaded with chaotic energy and that signature mayhem fans love.

The wait until September 12 might feel long but this trailer is here to keep the hype alive! We finally get a good look at the game’s big villain, the Timekeeper. He’s ruling over Kairos using high-tech implants and his Order to keep everyone under control. But not everyone’s following the rules as Claptrap is back and leading the charge for chaos with the Crimson Resistance.
The trailer’s just over two minutes, but it shows off plenty. Epic fights, flashy moves like double jumps, grappling, and gliding, and of course, tons of wild weapons and over-the-top moments. I love the Borderlands franchise, and this trailer was awesome. I'm so happy it is showing such a darker tone than BL3 and the bad guys seem to have more charisma and feel really menacing and have evil motivations. Yes, the two ‘streamer’ bad guys from BL3 were so boring. So we are back for hundreds of shooting hours, fun and a good story, yay!
