CTR Nitro-Fueled First Grand Prix Season Starts This Week

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled players will get the game’s first Grand Prix season, Nitro Tour, for free starting July 3rd. This will also include a brand-new track called Twilight Tour which is inspired by locations in the Middle East. The Grand Prix also comes with challenges players can complete to earn Nitro points which they can use for rewards such as the new character Tawna, character skins, new karts, and more.


Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Three Different Prologues

Cyberpunk 2077 has three different prologues that players can choose from at the beginning of the game. This is according to the game’s lead quest designer Paweł Sasko. “The player in Cyberpunk 2077 can create a custom character that has one of three origin stories, that we call lifepaths,” Sasko said. The lifepaths are: Nomad, Corpo or Street Kid. Each of them have different starting locations and story background that are connected to the origin story.


Marvel’s Avenger’s to be Showcased at Comic-Con

The San Diego Comic-Con is set to take place on July 18th, and Marvel Entertainment has revealed that Marvel’s Avengers will be showcased through a panel during the event. the panel itself will be held on July 18th at 1:30PM PT. The panel will be presenting “exciting new content” for the Avengers game, as well as other games like Iron Man VR and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. The panel also promises “many unannounced surprises and panel exclusives.”


Green Hell Leaves Early Access in September

Developer Creepy Jar is happy to announce that their Amazon-based survival game Green Hell will be heading out of Early Access on September 5th. This milestone comes after a successful Early Access run which allowed the game to get a massive following. The 1.0 version of Green Hell will introduce the much anticipated Story Mode feature. The full version will also include changes and fixes to the game which Creepy Jar based from players’ feedback while on Early Access.

Apex Legends’ Ranked Mode Details Revealed

Respawn has shared more details on how the Ranked Mode in Apex Legends will work. Ranked Mode will have six different Leagues which players can have a chance to climb through. Each of these ranks have four divisions, and every player starts out in the lowest rank and lowest division which is Bronze IV. Players need to earn RP in order to rank up from Bronze to Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and finally Apex Predator.


Hearthstone’s Saviors of Uldum Expansion Launches Next Month

Hearthstone is set to receive its new expansion, Saviors of Uldum on August 6th. This expansion is set to bring familiar characters to the game, along with new mechanics. Saviors of Uldum takes place after Rise of Shadows. The new mechanic will include a new keyword, Reborn, that will bring minions back to life with one health remaining the first time they are destroyed. There are also powerful Plague Spells for Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, and Rogue. Quests are also making a comeback.


CD Projekt Red is Developing Three Cyberpunk Games

Cd Projekt Red is working on three Cyberpunk games, according to its CEO Piotr Nielubowicz. The first of the three is obviously Cyberpunk 2077, the next one, according to Nielubowicz, will be a game set within the Cyberpunk universe. The third one, according to reports, is a multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077 and is currently in development.


Dragon Quest Builders 2 Showcases Customization and Collaboration

A new trailer for Dragon Quest Builders 2 showcases some of the things players can create with their friends when playing in multiplayer. The trailer also shows character customization which provides players with a lot of options. The game apparently will allow players to change their original characters, and even swap genders, in multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode allows players to play with up to three other friends and can be unlocked once players progress up to a certain point in the story.


The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series Announced

Skybound Entertainment has announced a definitive edition for The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series will be launching on September 10th, and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and on PC through the Epic Games Store. The definitive edition includes four seasons of the vide game series, the 400 Days DLC, and the three-part miniseries The Walking Dead: Michonne. This edition also comes with tons of extra content.


Dry Drowning PC Release Date Announced

The psychological investigative visual novel Dry Drowning gets a release date for PC. The game will be launching on Steam on August 2nd, while an Xbox One release is expected in 2020. Dry Drowning will have players take the role of private detective Mordred Foley who’s on a mission to find out the identity of a serial killer who’s taking out targets in a dystopian future. The game features over 150 story branches as well as three different endings.


The Division 2 Title Update #5 available now on PTS

Ubisoft has released Title Update number 5 for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on the Public Test Server as well as revealed the full patch notes. Based on the release notes, The Division 2 Title Update comes bearing two new main missions, Manning National Zoo and Camp White Oak. A new Classified Assignments along with a number of Expeditions have also been included. Triternion Addresses Toxicity, Racism and Ethnicity Toggle In Mordhau

Triternion recently released a statement via their official twitter admitting to their inexperience in combatting toxicity and racism in the Mordhau community. The developer also addressed the controversial ethnicity toggle by affirming never having any intention of adding a toggle to hide non-white ethnicities. Triternion also acknowledged the realism complaint might be adding a simple client-side toggle for both female and male characters which would let you disable them.


Steel Circus Release Date Announced

Iron Mountain Interactive has officially announced the release date for their promising MOBA game, Steel Circus. As of August 8, players will partake in the solar system’s largest sporting event. In the game, you will control one of many champions with unique abilities in competitive online matches. A lot of weight is placed on how well you can throw, pass, tackle and dodge to score goals. However, success is depended on exceptional skill, team play, and tactical decision-making.


Evil Dead Development Confirmed

Another Evil Dead game is in the works says Bruce Campbell, the voice of the game’s protagonist. The action-hack n slash game is reportedly being developed for consoles and PC. He also confirmed that Evil Dead will not be another VR title but never confirmed official release date. Unfortunately, there is nothing more of note divulged with regards to the title. It might be released either late 2019 or early 2020 but players are not to expect its launch any time soon.


Jet Kave Adventure Announced for Nintendo Switch

Jet Kave Adventure has finally been announced and it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. It is a 2.5D action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a tribe chief who is on a quest to save his entire island from “the alien invader” and further state your claim as the leader. The game is still in development and the official release date is yet to be revealed but the developers promise that the release date will be announced “shortly”.

Japan Police Uses Street Fighter to Recruit Cops

It has been reported that Japan police are using Street Fighter to recruit cops. More specifically, the characters from Capcom’s award-winning fighting game franchise will be used as mascots in the Osaka Prefectural Police’s recruitment advertising for cyber-crime. According to the reports, 3000 flyers will be distributed, and 1000 posters with images of Street Fighter characters on them will be placed at Osaka Prefectural Police stations and police boxes, as well as at train stations.


Trailer Brandishes New Destiny 2 Hand Cannon

Bungie recently released a new trailer brandishing a new hand cannon named Lumina, that will be making its way to Destiny 2. Lumina is very unique in that it focuses mainly on healing allies as opposed to damaging enemies. When players down an enemy, they can buff the weapon. Said buff active then enables players can shoot the gun from the hip, which propels a healing orb towards a nearby ally and increases their damage. The Lumina quest is currently available for Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass owners.


Void Bastards Update Inbound

Void Bastards is poised to receive new challenge modes and a new DLC shortly thereafter. According to Blue Manchu, players are to expect challenges like: “stealthing your way past super-tough enemies, being forced to rely on amped-up authorization skills to take over ship systems and managing a super fast but hard-to-control client”. The developer also subtly claimed the DLC will include an entirely new organization, complete with a new opponent and new ships.


Pigeon Simulator lets You Wreak Havoc as a Pigeon

PlayMechanics’ Pigeon Simulator is as the name of the game suggest, a simulation game in which players play as Pigeons. Unfortunately for the citizens of the city, you can do so much as to defecate on people. This goes to show the realm of possibilities open to you as you patrol the city causing havoc as Pigeons do. It also places emphasis on the casual nature of the game and that it is not to be taken too seriously. The developers have not divulged the release date as yet.


Ancestors Legacy Console Release Date Revealed

1C Entertainment has announced the PlayStation 4 And Xbox One Release Date for Ancestors Legacy. The game places you in command of your army as you storm through medieval Europe indulging in a rather extensive series of campaigns. The developer also assures the players that the console version of the game will not be without any existing content of the PC variation so they need not worry. Ancestors Legacy is slated to drop on August 14, 2019.
