Outer Wilds Coming to PS4 Next Week

Outer Wilds launched for PC and Xbox One back in June, and soon the space-travel time loop adventure game will become available on PlayStation 4. The game’s PS4 release is set on October 15th. Outer Wilds will bring players into space, where they are trapped in an endless time loop. Players will have to find out how to break the cycle as they explore the vastness of space.


Sony Confirms PlayStation 5 Release Window

Sony has confirmed the release window of PlayStation 5. The console will be launching in time for the Holidays in 2020. The company teased the console back in April, and revealed it will support 8k graphics, 3D audio, super-fast SSD, and finally, backwards compatibility with PS4 titles. The console will also come with a revamped controller, and Sony has replaced ‘rumble’ technology with haptic tech. It will also feature ‘adaptive triggers’ which are incorporated in the L2 and R2 buttons.


Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PC System Requirements Revealed

EA has revealed the PC system requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game will require 55GB of hard drive space, as well as 8GB or 16GB of memory. At minimum, it will require an AMD FX-6100 or Intel i3-3220 processor or its equivalent. It will also need an Radeon HD 7750 or GeForce GTX 650 GPU. EA recommends Ryzen 7 1700, i7-6700K or Equivalent processor as well as RX Vega 56, GTX 1070, or Equivalent GPUs.


Rabbids Coding Teaches Programming for Kids and It’s Free

Ubisoft has branched out into the edutainment genre with Rabbids Coding, a free game on Uplay which teaches kids basic programming. In Rabbids Coding, the player will select bits of codes from a menu then drag it into the play area. The codes must be arranged in the correct order so the instructions can be triggered. If there are errors, the player can try other codes or rearrange the sequence and try again. The game features 32 levels that teach different coding aspects like loops and conditions.


Riot Games Drops Facebook Support for League of Legends

Riot Games has removed Facebook integration on League of Legends. This was brought by the new 9.20 patch. According to Riot, Facebook integration is a “low-used feature” so they decided to remove it. Other players use the feature to find their Facebook friends in the game easily. Without it, players will have to add friends using their summoner name. This is not in any way connected with Sony’s move to remove Facebook integration on PS4.


Red Dead Online Announces New Legendary Bounty

A new Legendary Bounty awaits Red Dead Online players this week. This week players are tasked to take down former military sharpshooter Sergio Vincenza. Rumors say he has been hiding inside the fire tower at Roanoke Ridge with his men who were also part of the military. Players are advised to look out for traps and explosives when they try to enter the area.


Doom Eternal Release Delayed to March

ID Software has announced that Doom Eternal’s release has bee delayed to March 20, 2020. The company’s announcement, which was posted on DOOM’s Twitter account, says they need to delay the game’s release as it needs more time to “live up to our standards of speed and polish.” ID also added that Invasion Mode will come as a separate update “shortly after launch”, and will be free for players.


The Terminator Now Playable in Mortal Kombat 11

The Terminator is now playable in Mortal Kombat 11 for players who purchased a Kombat Pack. The Terminator is not playable in the campaign, but is available on all the other modes. He comes with his own fatalities, brutalities, and intro. The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack gives players access to six DLC characters; the remaining three characters are Sindel coming on November 26, Joker on January 28, and then Spawn on March 17.


Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Now on PC

Playtonic’s colorful platformer Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is now available on PC. The game was first revealed in June and is a 2.5D spin-off to Yooka-Laylee which was released in 2017. The Impossible Lair features all the enemies, obstacles, traps, and challenges the previous game has been known for. Players do not need to complete the entire game to get into the Lair; they can take it on whenever they want. The game is also available on Xbox One.


Nanotale Coming to Steam Early Access This Month

Typing adventure RPG Nanotale is coming to Steam Early Access this month. The latest addition to the Typing Chronicles franchise will be available starting October 23rd. It will have its official launch on Steam next year. In Nanotale, players will take the role of novice Archivist, Rosalind, who’s out on a journey to collect plant and rock samples and catalog mysterious occurrences. Players will also solve puzzles, interact with different characters, and fight enemies — all of these will be done with the use of their keyboards.


Doom 64 Announced for PC and Consoles

ID software has announced that Doom 64 will be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 20, 2020. The game will also be added as a pre-order bonus for Doom Eternal on all its platforms. Doom 64’s port was announced back in September during a Nintendo Direct stream. The game was supposed to launch on November 22nd.


War Selection Launches on Early Access

Developer and publisher Glyph Worlds announced the launch of their upcoming RTS game War Selection on Early Access. The game is free-to-play, but, there is also an option to get a subscription. Those who choose to go on the paid route will get new technologies for each era. Everyone in the game will start in the Stone Age and work their way up. The game offers different modes like the sandbox, free-for-all, and horde modes. Also, there is an Armageddon mode which probably is a 62-player RTS battle royale.


Day and Night Puzzle Game Arrives on the 22nd for the Switch

From Ridiculous Games comes a new puzzle game that is called Day and Night. The game is Tetris-inspired but with a twist. As with Tetris, you must match up the blocks so that those sections would be cleared. A day and night factor comes into play where day blocks are different from night blocks and players can only match up the type of blocks depending on their time state. Offering different kinds of modes and unique characters. Day and Night launches on October 22 for the Nintendo Switch.


Atlas Opens on Xbox Game Preview

Multiplayer fantasy pirate adventure from Grapeshot Games called Atlas has now launched on the Xbox Game Preview. The game has a full cross-platform support which would let players on the Xbox and Steam play together in the game’s gigantic world. The world of Atlas will host up to 40,000 players simultaneously. Also, Grapeshot has promised simultaneous updates across all platforms so that the same exact experience is available on both PC and Xbox One. Atlas is currently an early access game.


WWE 2K20 Reveals Details of MyCareer Mode

WWE 2K20’s MyCareer mode will be featuring both male and female characters. This mode offers a narrative-driven storyline, 18 chapters, 100 matches, 2,700+ lines of dialogue, 900+ lines of commentary, 270+ cutscenes, around 20 hours of play-through time, 34 career goals, and 1 bionic arm. This all starts with best friends Red and Tre who are lifelong buddies set out to fulfill their dream of being a professional wrestler. WWE 2K20 will be launching on October 22 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Fallen Angel Opens Kickstarter Campaign

Hack and Slash RPG Fallen Angel has launched its Kickstarter campaign and it will be open for 30 days. The goal of the campaign is to reach $20,000 USD and fans are invited to become backers. He had been banished from heaven and is back with a vengeance. Fallen Angel will launch by June 2020 for PC.


Lunch a Palooza Out Now on Steam Early Access

A fun, fast-paced party game called Lunch a Palooza was announced by publisher Alternative Software and developer Seashell Studio. Players would aim to be the last character standing, using special attacks in order to push other food-based characters off the table. There will also be some food-related items that you can use. Create traps, use power-ups and play either the single-player campaign or the multiplayer modes. Lunch A Palooza is now available on Steam Early Access for €12.99 Euros.


Headsnatchers to Release This November on the Switch

Headsnatchers from Iceberg Interactive and developer IguanaBee is coming to the Nintendo Switch! Get to snatch the heads of your opponents and be the winner! Battlefield 5 Trial Weekends Announced

Battlefield 5 is getting three free to play weekends as announced by Electronic Arts and DICE. One starts this weekend running up until the 13th, the second one will start on the 17th and the last one will be on the 24th. These free weekends will have different multiplayer modes each, the first is Rush, the second is Conquest and the third is Grand Operations. All the progress that you will gain from the Trial weekends can be carried over to the full game, once you decide to make the purchase.


Football PES 2020 Acquires Serie BKT License

eFootball PES 2020 was able to get Italy’s second division football league Serie BKT’s full license as announced by Konami. This is an amazing feat as eFootball PES 2020 is the only football video game on console and mobile to have the full Serie BKT. The license agreement means that the league logo, badges, trophy, team kits, and names can be used by the game. This would probably be available by next month through a DLC. eFootball PES 2020 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
