Cronos: The New Dawn is the new third-person survival horror adventure from Bloober Team. An ambitious new horror project from the Polish team behind the famous remake of Silent Hill 2. It takes us on an adventure in 1980s Poland as an agent of the Collective organization.
The goal is to extract the essence of certain individuals to try and change the future. Offering a chilling adventure among anomalies and terrifying creatures. Cronos: The New Dawn – A Chilling Showcase of Sector A-0
Following the showcase of the Merge mechanic in June, the Bloober team brings a new gameplay showcase for Cronos: The New Dawn. The new third-person survival horror adventure takes us to a post-apocalyptic Poland in the 1980s. In the showcase, we play as a Traveler exploring the Sector A-0 area.
A full 10-minute gameplay showcase where we’ll see the game in action. Featuring exploration of this sector to reach the Unity Hospital amidst anomalies, gravitational shifts, and Nests of Orphans we’ll have to face. And a voice that quotes the famous “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here” from Dante’s Inferno.
Cronos: The New Dawn: What the New Gameplay Shows and News from the Team
The new gameplay trailer takes us to the Sector A-0 section, following the traces of one of the Essences to be found at the Unity Hospital. In the first phase, it shows us gravitational perspective shifts, as well as hallucinations of the past and the combat against the Orphans. We find an ARC-Class Outpost left by another Traveler.
The log tells us that without the necessary energy to stop the Anomaly, it’s impossible to safely retrieve the Essence. Thus, we arrive at the Hospital, which has become a Nest of Orphans. It ends with a tease of a colossal monster. Among the latest news from the team, they have concluded the Hands-On events in Poland and the USA for the media with over 100 guests. Revealing that the first impressions from outlets will be coming in late July.

In Conclusion
The new gameplay showcase for Cronos has certainly impressed many fans. With solid combat very reminiscent of Dead Space, and a strong Polish aesthetic style.
