Since Evolve free to play was announced, its number of players has increased dramatically.

Turtle Rock and 2K decided to relaunch Evolve with updates as a free to play game on Steam. Since then it has become quite popular with the gamers. It already has reached the 13th spot in Steam’s Top games by current player count. Right now the game sports 27,121 current players beating out Fallout 4 (22,552), Rocket League (22,833) and Arma 3 (22,213)

Although it has not yet reached Top 10, the game has been climbing the charts quite fast. Doing so much better than its initial release. Topping the charts though are top titles like DOTA 2 (766,202), Counter Strike Global Offensive (370,965) and Team Fortress 2 (58,922).
