Xbox’s new disc-to-digital program is changing how players interact with their physical game collections. The initiative allows gamers to convert their existing game discs into digital licenses directly tied to their accounts. After a recent launch to Xbox Insiders, the service is quickly expanding its library of supported titles.

Ubisoft Is Now Supporting Xbox’s Disc-to-Digital Program

One of Xbox’s biggest announcements this year was its disc-to-digital program. In a year where Sony announced plans to scale back its production of physical discs, the program initially received some backlash, even though Microsoft has made it clear that it remains committed to physical game releases.
