The free trial runs from February 26 at 5 PM CET through March 2 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. PC players can grab it via Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, or GeForce Now. If you’re on Xbox, keep in mind your trial ends a bit earlier on Monday morning at 8 AM CET.

Alongside the free weekend, the developers dropped a massive teaser for the Year 1 Pass content. We’re looking at serious environmental hazards coming to the game, including volcanic eruptions and river floods.
You’ll also get to build the massive Hippodrome for chariot racing and gambling. It sounds like an incredibly easy way to keep your restless citizens distracted from their daily toils.
The fan-favorite Romanization feature from previous content is also making a comeback, bringing entirely new military units and production chains to manage.
