No Heroes Here 2 exits Early Access for Summer 2025 and lands on Consoles

No Heroes Here 2 (NHH2) is the latest entry in the tower defense series by Mad Mimic—a Brazilian indie team that launched the first title back in 2017. With NHH2 they’re back with a more ambitious project that not only features 3D visuals but also introduces some roguelike elements.

Set in a fantasy world, you’ll defend your castle from enemy forces. Across several levels, with a colorful art style and 4-player co-op. First released on October 29, 2024 in Early Access on Steam, and now ready for its full launch. Get No Heroes Here 2 and team up with your friends in a colorful and fun tower defense game packed with medieval weapons!

 

No Heroes Here 2 – Official Release Date and Console Launch Announced

After several updates since January, the indie team at Mad Mimic finally announces the official release date for No Heroes Here 2. With a May 15, 2025 announcement, the game will leave Early Access on July 1, 2025.

The team also confirmed the game is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, along with a new trailer showing what’s in store in NHH2—from upgrades and new weapons to defending against enemy waves.

 

No Heroes Here 2: Features, New Demo Available, and Latest Updates

Great news! The team is finally getting ready for the game’s full launch. Following the latest January update, which introduced catapults and new automated systems, the game offers:

  • Defend Your Castle: A classic 15-round tower defense mode to protect your castle. With 30 unique castles across 3 different Kingdoms—each with their own style and mechanics.
  • Use Your Medieval Arsenal: A wide variety of medieval fantasy weapons like catapults, slingshots, and even a tiny fire-breathing dragon!
  • Play With Friends: Play solo or with up to 4 players locally or online. Choose from classics like the Jester and Princess, or new characters like the Alchemist and Doctor.

The team also released a new updated Steam demo featuring some of the launch content. But note: online multiplayer won’t be available yet in the demo—it’s coming at launch. The game has also been shown live at the Brasilia Game Festival 2025 from May 16 to 18, 2025.
