There’s really no need to introduce the now very famous Call of Duty franchise which started way back in 2003. Created by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, the Call of Duty series has gathered audiences both young and old.
In Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, humanity has decided to set out to conquer space. After creating a colony of their own, humans have decided to become free and autonomous, which caused war between the two worlds.
You will play as Nick Reyes, the sudden commander of the Vaisseau Retribution after the previous commander was killed by the Settement Defense. They are what those on Earth call as terrorists. These terrorists have declared a war on the galaxy.
The games we have selected most instinctively link the different action and adventure games that closely resemble Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
In space, on land, or in the air, you will have to fight the SDF and its admiral Salen Koch. Close to the original atmosphere of Call of Duty, the title is intended for the general public. The game’s overall look is certainly different from what everyone is familiar with, but despite that, the gameplay is very much the same.
With Call of Duty Infinite Warfare taking place in space, we were expecting futuristic weapons, plasma rifles, laser, and other weapons from another century, but that was not so. Admittedly, you will have access to an arsenal of futuristic weapons, but nothing prevents players accustomed to conventional weapons from using them.
A special mention for the Jetpack which is indispensable in some areas, and is very nice to use :).
Even if the universe of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is futuristic, it remains an FPS, and it is an FPS that is spoken of. The games closest to this latest CoD opus are Crysis 3, Titanfall 2, and Destiny. Even if games might just as well match, we decided to keep the futuristic dimension of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare to select them.
