Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Coiled Captors DLC Out Now

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has received its first DLC, Coiled Captors, which unlocks the first chapter in the game’s post-launch content.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ first DLC has arrived, adding new content featuring action-packed boss fights, new challenges, and rewards. Coiled Captors is part of the game’s Season Pass and is the first of four post-launch content drops.

It is also available as a separate purchase for those who already own Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Standard Edition.

With Coiled Captors, players will now be able to access the first Mirror of Mystery through Vesper. This brings them into a replayable dungeon where they will challenge the new boss, Chums.

Chums is described as an “elder god [that] has lost all sense of self and devolved into a rampaging beast after being trapped within a seawarg’s body for centuries.” In this challenge, players will put an end to Chums’ misery by defeating him… but there’s a catch.

This mad god has four powerful forms that get unlocked each time he gets defeated. With every new form, Chums learns new attacks and abilities.

And if you think that’s the only thing you need to do, think again. You must defeat Chums at once, because if you die during your face-off, you will be kicked out of the mirror, and you will go through the entire dungeon once again before you get to another go at facing him.

Here’s when he is expected to take on his new forms (if you get to defeat him on schedule):

• First Form: 9:30 AM PT on April 21
• Second Form: 9:30 AM PT on April 28
• Third Form: 9:30 AM PT on May 5
• Final Form: 9:30 AM PT on May 12

Take note that you will only be able to face Chums’ new, more powerful form if you defeat the previous one. “If you take on Coiled Captors after these dates have passed, you’ll still need to defeat all four forms in order to hear Vesper’s full story,” the PlayWonderlands website says.

The Mirror of Mystery also brings you rewards and loot. Taking down enemies will allow you to earn Lost Souls which you can use to spin the Wheel of Fate in Dreamveil Overlook. Each space on the wheel contains valuable items such as a new weapon, gear, or a cosmetic.

Coiled Captors also brings something to the Chaos Chamber, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands endless dungeon. Completing the challenges will add them to the Chaos Chamber, and completing Coiled Captors itself will add five new level layouts as well as Chums to the chaotic variables.
