Bastion gets his own Overwatch animated short
The next Overwatch animated short will be revealed during this year’s Gamescom on August 18th. This time it will be the inquisitive transforming robot Bastion’s turn on the spotlight.

With the title, “The Last Bastion”, the Overwatch animated short will tell the story of the origin of Bastion.
Its description reads: “In this episode, we follow the forgotten battle automaton as it unexpectedly reactivates after laying dormant in the wilderness for over a decade. Fascinated by its unfamiliar surroundings, the curious omnic begins to investigate, but quickly discovers its core combat programming may have a different directive…”
The Last Bastion is set to premiere exclusively during Gamescom 2016 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (18:00 CEST) on August 18th. You can also watch it online on http://gamescom.blizzard.com/.
