Sworn 1.0 Is Out On All Platforms – Play For Free On Xbox Game Pass
Sworn 1.0 is out today, earlier than initially planned! Play the roguelike adventure free on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
Sworn was initially released on Early Access for PC on February 6th, and while most games tend to linger this phase for quite some time, it isn’t the case for this one. Team17’s newest rogue-like indie is launching in full today, just after seven months on early access. It is be available for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Sworn Exits Early Access And Straight To Game Pass
Team17 and Windwalk Games originally planned to launch Sworn v1.0 on September 25th. However, with Supergiant Games confirming the full release of Hades 2 on the very same day, the Sworn team has decided to move their release forward to ensure the game gets the attention it deserves. Considering Hades 2 is one of the year’s most anticipated titles with a massive community behind it, avoiding a direct clash was a smart move that will allow Sworn to shine in its own right.
While Sworn doesn’t have as big of a following, it will also launch day-one on Xbox Game Pass so there will be a sizable pool of players that will have access to it. Members of Ultimate and PC tiers can play the game for free on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud. On top of that, to celebrate the release, the game is currently 33% off on Steam until September 29th.
Sworn is a 1–4 player roguelike set in a dark reimagining of Camelot. Band together or fight solo to challenge King Arthur’s corrupted reign, wielding over 200 blessings and endless combos of weapons, abilities, and character builds. Encounter legends like Merlin, explore a fallen Avalon, and battle sinister knights in a world brought to life with Mike Mignola–inspired art and immersive sound.
