Stardew Valley Update 1.7: More Than Bug Fixes
Barone originally planned to move on after the last patch. Yet, the allure of Pelican Town remains too strong. He recently teased that the upcoming 1.7 update will be significant, potentially rivaling the scope of a full expansion pack.
The developer confirmed several key additions that will change how you play. Expect new social interactions and fresh character events that deepen relationships with the townsfolk.
Most importantly, Barone revealed a new farm type is in the works. This fundamental change usually alters the entire gameplay loop, offering veteran players a solid reason to restart their journey.
