Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Headlines EA Titles Coming to Steam
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will be launching very soon. So soon in fact that EA has already released the game’s launch trailer. But that’s not the only good news for the game as EA has announced that it’ll be bringing its games and its EA Access subscription service to Steam.
As you should know by now, Jedi Fallen Order will star Cal Kestis, a padawan Jedi on the run after a fateful accident reveals his identity to the Empire. The launch trailer serves to show just how much of an underdog Cal will be in this story, how he’ll always be on the ropes, on the edge. But we all know that being the underdog just makes victory all the more sweeter.

As mentioned, EA wants to bring its catalogue of games to Steam and they’ll be starting with Jedi Fallen Order. The game is now available for pre-order on Steam, which might be disappointing for those who already pre-ordered on Origin but might prefer it on Steam now that it’s there. Other games following soon include The Sims 4, Unravel 2, Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield 5.
EA Access is also coming to Steam next year, marking the first subscription service of its kind to be offered on the platform. However, EA Access on Steam will be more like EA Access on consoles and not like Origin Access which offers almost three times the number of games compared to its console counterparts.
EA also emphasized that they’ll be working to bring crossplay between Steam and Origin for all of their titles. This makes sense since all of this was prompted by EA wanting “to be where the players are.” Allowing both platforms playerbases to play with each other could only mean well for sales.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order launches on November 15th for PC (on both Steam and Origin), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
