A new Divinity Original Sin 2 video confirms split-screen as well as skill crafting in the game. The video is about eleven minutes long and it verifies some amazing things about the game.

The video is shot in the Larian Studios in Ghent and it features the founder of Larian Studios, Swen Vincke. A small tour inside their studio can be seen in the video as Vincke moves around the building.

First up is the split-screen confirmation. This is where two players can now play on split-screen with just one screen and up to four players on two screens that are divided.

Another thing introduced in the video is skill crafting. This is a new system where you are able to combine skill books. One should be an elemental book and the other, a none elemental book and this will create a new skill. Source skills are also available to be combined and it will have a super powered outcome.

Rune crafting can also be seen where you can create runes by using Pixie Dust, oil, and any wood element. Or you can simply just pick them up and combine them with other runes to make them stronger. Runes can be used to upgrade your gear. You can watch the complete video below: Vincke also announced that right now, no patches will be available since they are putting all their efforts for the game to be launched on time. Divinity Original Sin 2 is expected to launch on September 14, 2017, for PC.
