Ubisoft has delayed Skull and Bones again and has announced a new release date.

Skull and Bones is once again delayed as Ubisoft looks to March 2023 to release the open-world pirate game.

Already delayed multiple times since 2018, Skull and Bones has yet another delay as Ubisoft announced they need more time to work on it after player feedback during testing.

 

In a statement, Ubisoft said, “the extra time will be used to further polish and balance the experience using players’ feedback from our Technical tests and Insider Program.”

Although Skull and Bones now launches in 2023, Ubisoft has said there would be an open beta “in the near future” for anyone wanting to play it before March.

Skull and Bones will now release on March 9, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
