Xbox Game Pass has added a new co-op adventure to its catalog, placing players in a shared kingdom of top-down combat and dungeon crawling. Scramble Knights Online launches day-one on the service today, bringing its Early Access debut to subscribers. If you are looking for an MMO-lite experience filled with quests, crafting, and optional faction battles, this one is ready to play.
What is Scramble Knights Online About?
Scramble Knights Online takes players to Terracott, an online kingdom spread across an archipelago filled with small towns, dangerous creatures, hidden secrets, and dungeons to explore. You play as a knight-in-training, taking on bite-sized quests either alone or with up to three other players.
Combat uses a top-down perspective with different weapons and abilities to master as you face electric slimes, rock-throwing crabs, and larger dungeon bosses. Exploration also plays a major role with Zelda-inspired dungeons offering puzzles, hidden treasures, and challenges that require more than simply defeating every enemy in your path.
Between expeditions, you can return to Town Square to meet other players, upgrade your equipment, craft new gear, fish with friends, and prepare for the next quest. Completing missions rewards you with gems, crafting materials, and loot to help strengthen your knight and experiment with different combat builds.
There is also an optional PvP system built around competing factions. Players can join a side and fight against other knights, adding a competitive element alongside the game’s cooperative quests and exploration.
Scramble Knights Online Is Now Available on Xbox Game Pass
Scramble Knights Online joins Xbox Game Pass on October 26 as a day-one release in the service’s Wave 2 lineup. The game is currently in Early Access / Game Preview so expect a few bugs here and there, and more content to be added.
Actually, a major update is already planned in the coming months. The Island Odyssey Update is scheduled for December and will introduce 2-Star areas, a new boss, additional equipment, and more.
For now, the launch build lets players explore the entire 1-Star area which offers roughly five hours of unique content. Faction-based PvP is also available from the start giving players another activity beyond the main quests and dungeon challenges. Crossplay support is also already available for all players.
