Resident Evil 4 Screenshots Look Amazing

Capcom has released new gameplay and screenshots of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and it all looks too good to be true.

RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE DETAILS

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a remaster of the original Resident Evil 4 game from 2005.

After Capcom’s success with the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes, it makes sense that they are moving onto Resident Evil 4.

Resident Evil 4 will use the RE Engine, with Capcom looking to update the game for current generation hardware.

Capcom released a gameplay trailer and new screenshots of Resident Evil 4 Remake during Sony’s State of Play 2022 event.

Resident Evil 4 follows the series favorite Leon S. Kennedy who is sent to rescue the President’s daughter, who is kidnapped by a terrifying cult.

The RE4 remake does an outstanding job of highlighting the isolation and fear that made the original so good.

It only takes one look at the new screenshots to see the incredible improvement in graphics and atmosphere the remake has over the original RE4.

Unfortunately, those graphical improvements come at a cost, as Capcom confirms Resident Evil 4 Remake will not appear on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Resident Evil 4 will release on March 24, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
