A new round of free games for Playstation Plus has been revealed! And much like last month, April’s list is a great one. Immortals of Aveum tops it but the other two are insanely good ones too.

If there’s only one “downside” to this month is it is back to the three game count unlike March’s when we saw 4 games available to download for free.

This month’s exclusive Playstation Plus freebie is the Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle which includes 9 different skins and Battle Pass skips. Of course, you need Overwatch 2 in your library first before you can have access to these. It will automatically be available to you in-game regardless if you’re a new or returning player.

Immortals of Aveum – PS5



Immortals of Aveum is a first-person shooter game where you play as Jak, a new member of an elite order of battlemages tasked with saving the world of Aveum from the brink of destruction.

The game features a unique three-color magic system: red, blue, and green. Red magic focuses on offense, blue magic focuses on defense, and green magic focuses on utility. You can then customize your spellcasting style by choosing which spells to equip and by upgrading your skills through a talent tree.

The game’s campaign can be completed in around 12-16 hours on normal difficulty, but there is also a fair amount of side content to explore for those who want to get more out of the experience.



Minecraft Legends – PS5, PS4



Minecraft Legends is a 2023 real-time action-strategy game where you save the Overworld from the destructive piglins. Experience a vibrant world brimming with diverse biomes and hidden secrets where you can forge alliances with friendly mobs and unlikely heroes to form a powerful army as the game supports multiplayer.

Then strategically command your allies and directly influence the flow of combat in real-time. The piglins are a persistent and dangerous enemy, so prepare for challenging battles.



Skul: The Hero Slayer – PS4



Skul The Hero Slayer is a roguelike-action platformer where you play as Skul, a resourceful skeleton who leads the Demon King’s army in a fight against the invading human heroes.

Skul’s most interesting feature is his ability to detach his own head and replace it with a new one. Each skull grants unique abilities and attacks, and with over 80 skulls to collect, you can experiment and find the one that suits your playstyle.

The game features randomly-generated dungeons and stages so each playthrough offers a fresh challenge. Be careful though because when you die, you lose all your progress and start back at the beginning. But, you can unlock new permanent abilities and upgrades over time.
