PlayStation Plus October 2024 Joining Titles
Update September 25 – Sony has revealed October’s Essential free games lineup, and although none of the predictions came through, the three titles are still good games. The announcement came ahead of the usual schedule as it was unveiled during Playstation’s State of Play yesterday.
The biggest game in the lineup is WWE 2K24. It leads last year’s remake, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club. These games will be available for all PS Plus members from October 1 until November 4.
Apart from the October monthly games for Essential tier, it was also announced during State of Play that Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Dino Crisis will be added “soon” to the Classics catalog for PS Plus Premium members. Furthermore, The Last of Us Part 1 will also be added to Games Catalog for Extra and Premium members tomorrow, September 26, in celebration of The Last of Us Day.
Original Publication – Playstation Plus Essential games for the month of October is not officially out but it will be announced soon. The reveal is on September 25, 2024 and will be available to download on October 1, 2024. So it’s perfect timing as members can really start off the month with three free games.
There are a lot of predictions across different forums and sites. But there are few that are mentioned more than a couple of times. Most notable are Dead Island 2, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Although this seems too good to be true if these three are together. Hopefully at least two!
Far Cry 5 is also making rounds, just a few days after a rumor on Far Cry 7 launching day-one on Playstation Plus. To reiterate, this is just a rumor which we will follow up on and go through in the next couple of days.
For now, download September’s lineup if you haven’t yet. The list includes day-one launch, Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, plus MLB The Show 24 and Little Nightmares 2.
In other Playstation Plus news, the October lineup for Extra and Premium tiers will be announced on October 9, and available for members starting October 15. As for games leaving PS Plus next month, it is due to do so on October 22. The list includes The Evil Within, which some may remember as being “mistakenly” removed last month.
